Young and old
Not only do we service new units, but we have an extensive store of replacement parts and upgrades for older desktop and laptop computers. Heck, we recently took in a PowerBook 145 flown in from Uganda!
Rates
Our repair work is billed out at $75 per hour. The minimum charge is $25, and billed hours are rounded up to the next half-hour increment.
AppleCare
At this time, we can only offer limited AppleCare warranty support. The Mac Market is not an Apple Authorized Service Centre, but we do work in partnership with other local Mac Dealers to get your AppleCare warranted computer up and running again.
Warranty
New items
New items sold by The Mac Market carry the manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase, typically a year, sometimes more.
Used items
The Mac Market warrants used items sold from the store for 30 days from the date of purchase. Any defective unit will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of The Mac Market.
Consigned items
The Mac Market warrants consigned items sold from the store for 3 working days after the date of purchase. After the third day, the consignee is paid out and the transaction is complete with no further obligation.
Returns
We accept returns on defective merchandise only. All other goods may be accepted at the discretion of The Mac Market and subject to a restocking fee.
